I came here often for lunch with a friend while studying at the university, and it was always a good experience. The staff is very friendly, there was always enough room to sit, and they have a good menu with reasonable prices. However, it is a little noisy and the music isn't always great. You hear everyone talking and it can get pretty loud sometimes. They don't ask people to be quiet when they're being loud, but if someone gets too much, they will be escorted away by security, and if someone is really bothering you, you can also ask security for help and they treat the issue respectfully (I have only needed to ask their help at one social, where a drunk individual was harrassing myself and my friends quite badly and getting physical, he was escorted away twice by security, didn't come back after the second time). Overall I would certainly recommend visiting the Hub if you're looking for a low-key place to eat on campus. But mind allergies, because a lot of their dishes have the same foods, let the server know if you're allergic to something (potato and tomato are a problem for me, but I can still get several dishes and they take allergies seriously).

Come here for the food, drinks, student culture, and by occasion sporting events and to hang out. I used to visit the Hub, and formerly when it was Wise Guys, every now and then when I was a student. Cozy modern bar with TVs and some pool tables as well.

Love this place, one of my fav in city to hangout with your friends and party. The booze is always cheap compared to all other pubs in the city. Food and specials are too good, best value for both food and booze. Wednesday nights are packed, you get beer for $2

Daily beer, cocktail, soup, and entree specials. Booze and spoons is a must for all cereal lovers. The food menu, including the specials will never disappoint. It is my favourite place to grab a bite on campus. The daily evening events are great if you need to wind down from studying. Service is good, even during its busy hours.
